Doosan Construction Donates Ticket Proceeds to Jeju Disabled Sports Association

Donation of Entire 10.98 Million KRW from Gallery Ticket Sales at ‘Doosan Construction We’ve Championship’ Tournament

Doosan Construction announced on the 6th that it donated the entire proceeds from the gallery ticket sales (10.98 million KRW) at the ‘Doosan Construction We’ve Championship’ held from the 11th to the 13th to the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Disabled Sports Association.

Doosan Construction explained that since the Doosan Construction We’ve Championship is a sports event held in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, they selected the organization as the donation recipient to raise awareness of disabled sports. The donated funds will be used to support disabled sports organizations and athletes within Jeju Special Self-Governing Province.

In March, Doosan Construction also donated 26 million KRW to the Busan Metropolitan Red Cross to support emergency crisis families in the Nam-gu area of Busan, and contributed 30 million KRW to Dong-gu, Incheon, for fire damage recovery at Hyundai Market in Dong-gu, Incheon, demonstrating various donation activities to work together with the local community.

Doosan Construction stated, "We hope this donation will increase interest in disabled sports and help improve poor training environments," and added, "Going forward, Doosan Construction will continue to be a company that practices ESG management through various CSR activities for socially vulnerable groups."
