1 Night 2 Days Event Also Held for Multicultural Families
The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Gyeongnam Nonghyup held the 2023 ‘Multicultural Family Rural Settlement Support Field Training’ entrance ceremony at the Gyeongnam Headquarters on the 6th.
Until the 7th, a 1-night 2-day family event will be held for about 40 multicultural families in Gyeongnam Province around Busan and Gyeongju.
The ‘Multicultural Family Rural Settlement Support Field Training Course’ is a cooperative project between Nonghyup and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, designed to foster successor agricultural personnel and support stable rural settlement through community understanding of multicultural families and systematic agricultural education support.

This training course was conducted with programs such as family empathy and communication programs with children, allowing participants to feel and understand the importance of family, receiving great responses from participants.
Following last year, Gyeongnam Nonghyup held a communication session with multicultural family areas and Nonghyup female welfare officers to convey difficulties experienced in the field. Confirming mutual gratitude, families spent a relaxing time away from their daily routines.
Kim Ju-yang, the head of the headquarters, said, “We will always strive to improve the quality of life and happiness of multicultural families as members of agriculture and rural communities,” adding, “We will continue to be a reliable supporter who spares no support in the future.”
