The 'Placemaker Forum' will be held on September 22 at Heyground Seongsu Starting Point Brix Hall as part of the 'CreativeX Seongsu Conference Field.'
CreativeX Seongsu is a private collaborative expo-style festival planned and created primarily by companies active in Seongsu-dong. This conference field will host the Placemaker Forum under the theme 'Various Attempts for a Sustainable City.'
The forum is co-hosted by the nonprofit organization Root Impact, urban innovation company Anspace, and Impact Alliance, and is conducted as one of the programs of CreativeX Seongsu's Conference Field - Serendipity, sponsored by the Seongdong Cultural Foundation.
The forum features a total of five speakers through an open keynote and case presentations. Suhyun Jeong, CEO of Anspace, will serve as the moderator for the entire event and open with the theme 'N Imaginations for a Sustainable City.' Jaehyung Heo, CEO of Root Impact, will share the forum's direction with a keynote titled 'Placemaker City Seongsu, Challenges for a Sustainable City.'
The forum is divided into Part 1, 'Placemaker Insight,' and Part 2, 'Placemakers Creating New Formulas.' In the Insight segment, Wonseok Kyung, Director of the Kyungshinwon Urban and Community Research Institute, will present on the topic 'Guidelines for Placemakers for a Sustainable City.' Along with discourse on sustainable cities, discussions will follow on how future cities, centered on Seongsu-dong, should prepare for placemakers.
In Part 2, various cases of placemakers actively working in the field will be introduced. As a case presentation, Wonseok Choi, CEO of Project Rent, will speak on 'The Power of Urban Content Changing Cities, Opening the Era of Offline Portfolios for Creators,' linking urban content with sustainability.
TaehO Lee, CEO of WingWing Co., Ltd., and Seyoung Heo, CEO of LucentBlock, who are opening possibilities for regional assetization through real estate fractional investment?a recently trending topic?will present together. CEO Lee will introduce B.Street, a regional assetization project, presenting 'Sustainability of Local Communities' based on projects. Following this, CEO Heo will discuss 'Changing the Formula of Real Estate Ownership through Fractional Investment,' forecasting the potential and future of proptech companies through STO.
Anspace, which planned the forum, anticipates that this event will provide political insights and practical advice to various stakeholders, including many policymakers and local government officials devising good urban operation models, as well as local creators enhancing urban brand value through shared spaces.
Meanwhile, the Placemaker Forum can be registered for through the official Eventus channel and will take place on September 22 at Heyground Seongsu Starting Point Brix Hall (B1).
