Flask announced on the 6th that it will strongly respond according to legal procedures regarding BioBill Co., Ltd.'s application to change the purpose of the damages claim, which was disclosed on the 5th.
BioBill initially filed a damages claim worth 500 million KRW against eight individuals, including Flask, in 2022. Through the recent application to change the purpose of the claim, the damages amount was changed to 17.9 billion KRW.
A company representative stated, “This lawsuit was filed during BioBill's rehabilitation process. We understand that BioBill has filed several other lawsuits related to management besides this case, but all have been concluded as ‘no charges.’ Furthermore, all procedures related to past transactions between our company and BioBill, as well as our company's decision-making, were conducted in accordance with lawful procedures.”
He added, “We plan to strongly respond, including all legal measures, to lawsuits that damage the trust and image of our company.”
