[Click eStock] "Thinkware, Evolving into an Autonomous Driving Company"

Research Alume analyzed on the 5th that Tingkware is transforming from a black box company to an autonomous driving company, and that the current stock price is undervalued. They suggested a fair stock price of 21,500 KRW.


Tingkware is a supplier of black boxes, robot vacuum cleaners, autonomous driving platforms, and map services. It holds the number one market share in black boxes and navigation systems in the domestic market.


Researcher Seunghwan Lee from Research Alume explained, "With nationwide map big data and location-based solutions built over many years, we supply map platforms for the electronic components and mobility sectors," adding, "We are transforming from a black box company to an autonomous driving company."


He continued, "Based on existing businesses such as black boxes and robot vacuum cleaners, we are building autonomous driving platform services," and added, "As autonomous driving advances, the importance of high-precision maps has increased."


He emphasized, "Autonomous driving cannot be realized without high-precision HD maps," and "Hyundai Motor Group has officially entered the SDV field by acquiring the autonomous driving and software company FortyTwoDot, and Tingkware is jointly developing autonomous driving platforms with FortyTwoDot."


This year, Tingkware is estimated to achieve sales of 444.4 billion KRW and operating profit of 50.3 billion KRW, representing increases of 32.0% and 1028.1%, respectively, compared to last year.
