On September 9, the 'Yuasup Family Festival' for families to enjoy together will be held at Yongmasan Early Childhood Forest Experience Center... Various programs and spaces including nature experience and observation for regular Yuasup users' families, photo zones, and rest zones
Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) will hold the 10th Early Childhood Forest Family Festival on the 9th.
The Early Childhood Forest Family Festival will take place on the 9th at Yongmasan Early Childhood Forest Experience Center, targeting families from regular early childhood forest use institutions. Under the theme "Dunggae Dunggae Playing Forest and Resting Forest with Children," the event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The festival is expected to provide parents and children with an opportunity to enjoy and relax in the forest through various experiential programs together.
The programs are divided into three categories: ▲Nature Experience ▲Family Friendly ▲Forest Rest, consisting of a total of 14 experiential booths including arrowroot bowling, fruit darts, carbon-neutral flowerpot making, and ticklish barefoot walking. In addition to a photo zone to capture memories, there will be an observation zone where participants can freely observe diverse nature using observation tools, and a rest zone to fully enjoy leisure time in the forest.
Besides the diverse program lineup, the district plans to ensure perfect safety management so that children can enjoy the festival safely and happily. Safety personnel will be assigned to patrol the venue throughout the event, and an emergency contact network has been established with fire, police, and medical institutions to respond promptly to any unforeseen emergencies.
Until the 8th, prior to the festival, the site will be regularly patrolled to remove hazards such as beehives or tree ritual sites, thoroughly preventing any safety accidents.
Ryu Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, "I hope this festival will be a time for children to happily play, rest, learn, and grow in the forest," adding, "We will continue to strive to prepare various programs so that children can interact more closely with nature and grow up healthily."
Jungnang-gu operates four early childhood forest experience centers in Yongmasan, Bonghwasan, Sagajeong Park, and Gurungsan to allow children to interact and learn from nature. Currently, 55 local daycare centers and kindergartens use the early childhood forest experience centers, and regular use of the early childhood forest is open for participation through a public recruitment held every February.
