KT Alpha's 'Giftishow Biz' Surpasses 100,000 Members... One in Eleven Places Is a Member

Membership Surpasses 100,000... 1 Out of 11 Companies Has Members
Cumulative Transaction Amount Reaches 7.3 Trillion Won

KT Alpha's corporate-exclusive mobile coupon service, 'Giftishow Biz,' has surpassed 100,000 corporate members. As of last year, one out of every 11 companies in South Korea is using Giftishow Biz.

On the 5th, KT Alpha announced that the number of Giftishow Biz members exceeded 100,000, and the mobile coupon market size surpassed 7.3 trillion KRW last year. Giftishow Biz is a B2B (Business to Business) online service launched by KT Alpha in March 2017, allowing corporate managers to directly send mobile coupons in bulk. It is used for various purposes such as promotions, event prize distribution, and employee welfare coupons.

Giftishow Biz has grown rapidly thanks to the spread of non-face-to-face culture due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Compared to 2019, the cumulative number of members last year increased by 539%, transaction amounts rose by 820%, and the annual average volume of mobile coupon issuance increased nearly tenfold. To date, the cumulative number of coupons sent has reached approximately 38 million. Giftishow Biz holds over 40% market share in the B2B online service market, maintaining the top position in the industry.

Giftishow Biz is attempting to evolve from a mobile coupon business into a B2B integrated marketing platform. As part of this effort, in February last year, it launched the industry's first survey function to collect customer feedback, and in March of the same year, it expanded physical prizes mainly focused on electronic products to further support corporate marketing. In August, it introduced a text messaging feature that enables customer guidance and notifications, allowing real-time communication between companies and customers.

In May this year, the industry-first 'validity period selectable coupon' was introduced, allowing coupons to be used not only for the existing 30 days but also for 60 and 90 days. Corporate managers can purchase products with various validity periods according to their purchasing purposes, and recipients can use mobile coupons more flexibly within the extended period. In the second half of this year, a 'recipient-selectable coupon,' which allows recipients to choose their desired product from multiple options, is also scheduled to be launched.
