Dongmyeong University Department of Counseling Psychology Signs Agreement with Ryu Mental Health Clinic

The Department of Counseling Psychology at Dongmyung University signed a business agreement with Ryu Mental Health Clinic on the 1st.

According to the agreement, the two institutions will actively cooperate in ▲ exchanging information for mutual development ▲ human resource exchange ▲ program support, among other areas.

Professor Choi Seong-jin, who attended the signing ceremony, said, “Active exchanges are expected in the fields of mental health and clinical psychology.”

Director Ryu Young-ho said, “We will cooperate in treatment interventions for college students struggling with mental health issues and in clinical psychology practice.”

Starting in 2024, the Department of Counseling Psychology at Dongmyung University will change its name to the Department of Counseling and Clinical Psychology to produce experts not only in counseling but also in clinical psychology, and to meet the social demand for counseling and clinical psychology required in various fields.

The department plans to operate a combined bachelor's and master's program that allows students to obtain a degree within five years, aiming to cultivate talent suited to practical social changes and technological innovation.
