The Mia 9-2 District (area around 137-72 Mia-dong) was approved by the association establishment promotion committee in April 2006 and designated as a maintenance district in July 2009. It is located north of Songjung Elementary School, within a 10-minute walk from Mia Sageori Station on Line 4.

According to the approved implementation plan, the Mia 9-2 District (site area 102,371.6㎡) will have 22 buildings with 1,758 apartment units ranging from 6 basement floors to 25 above-ground floors. The building coverage ratio is set at 20.77%, and the floor area ratio is applied up to 227.33%.

The exclusive area units are ▲52㎡ type with 61 units ▲59㎡ with 871 units (types A, B, C, D) ▲84㎡ with 789 units (types A, B, C) ▲113㎡ type with 34 units ▲136㎡ type with 2 units ▲157㎡ type with 1 unit.

On the south side of the apartments, a 7,509.3㎡ park along with public open spaces and auxiliary welfare facilities will be created, which is expected to enhance convenience for nearby residents. Among the project area, 2,291㎡ will be incorporated into Songjung Elementary School.

The next steps for the district include selecting a construction company and establishing a management disposition plan.

Lee Soon-hee, Mayor of Gangbuk-gu, said, “Having overcome the major hurdle of approving the implementation plan during the maintenance project process, we will continue to promote the planned maintenance of aging residential areas,” and added, “Gangbuk-gu will spare no support to supply high-quality housing.”
