Ultra-Low Humidity All-Solid-State Dry Room Specialist CK Solution Co., Ltd. Expands Secondary Battery Dry Room Business

CK Solution Co., Ltd., a specialized company in ultra-low humidity all-solid-state dry rooms, announced that it will actively expand its secondary battery dry room business.

CK Solution's dry rooms have been steadily researched and developed from 2004 to 2023. Level 1 was used for general dry room purposes with a DP (dew point) of -32 to -34℃, but Level 3 ultra-low humidity dry rooms have continuously advanced in technology for all-solid-state battery dry rooms with a DP below -45℃.

Senior management at CK Solution stated, “As growth in advanced industries such as lithium batteries, semiconductors, and pharmaceuticals expands, orders for secondary battery dry rooms are also increasing. In particular, overseas investments by large companies such as LG Energy Solution, Samsung SDI, and SK Innovation are continuously increasing, which is driving demand for dry rooms. We plan to actively expand related businesses. Currently, our headquarters has secured bases through overseas subsidiaries in Hungary, Poland, Guam, Vietnam, Malaysia, the United States, and last month established a subsidiary in Canada, achieving orders worth approximately 150 billion KRW.”

An official said, “Until last year, dry rooms with a DP (dew point) of up to -32℃ were growing, but in the future, ultra-low humidity dry rooms for all-solid-state batteries with a DP below -70℃ are expected to grow. In response, our headquarters is moving quickly. Since 2020, starting with the construction of the Samsung Future Technology Campus P4 all-solid-state laboratory dry room, we have completed seven all-solid-state dry room construction projects, including the NanoCamp Co., Ltd. Chungju plant all-solid-state dry room facility construction and Hansol Chemical Iksan plant all-solid-state laboratory dry room construction.”

Meanwhile, since its founding in 2004, CK Solution Co., Ltd. has been supplying technologies such as dry rooms, cleanroom systems, and HACCP & GMP systems necessary for advanced industries based on years of accumulated know-how and rich experience in the refrigeration and air conditioning field.
