Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee) is operating the 'Seoul Family School' at the Gwanak-gu Family Center to respond to changing family environments and promote the formation of a healthy family culture.
'Seoul Family School' is a customized educational program for empathy and communication among family members, and any Seoul citizen dreaming of a happy family can participate for free.
This year's Seoul Family School programs include ▲ 'Pre-marriage Couple Class' ▲ 'Parent Class for Children and Adolescents' ▲ 'Family Chef' ▲ 'Father Class', among others.
The 'Pre-marriage and Newlywed Couple Class' offers couples preparing for marriage or married less than seven years an opportunity to broaden their understanding of themselves and their partners through personality type tests, while the 'Parent Class for Children and Adolescents' educates parents with children from elementary to high school on understanding child and adolescent development, parenting information, and discipline methods.
In 'Family Chef', families can share roles through cooking to form a horizontal family culture, and the 'Father Class' educates fathers on caring for their stressed minds and resolving conflicts with their children.
