Utilizing the period of 'Ulchi Freedom Shield' (UFS), this field maneuver training involved over 100 ROK-US special operations personnel, including the Special Warfare Command's Biho Unit and SOCKOR. After conducting Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) training for combat casualties such as massive hemorrhage at the Special Warfare Command garrison in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, and Camp Humphreys in Pyeongtaek, they moved to the Yangyang Maritime Infiltration Tactics Training Area in Gangwon Province to intensively hone maritime infiltration skills over a two-week schedule.

The ROK-US special operations personnel repeatedly practiced pre-selected core tasks such as intense physical training on the sandy beach, boat handling, docking procedures and communication operations, and navigation maintenance. Based on this, on the 28th, they assumed an arbitrary infiltration point and launched an infiltration operation from the open sea toward the land using rubber boats. Advance teams from both countries' special warfare units arrived first at the landing target point, eliminated threats such as enemy sentries, and guided the main force's successful landing.

Subsequently, they overcame enemy obstacles and carried out strike operations by assaulting key enemy facilities. After completing the maritime infiltration training, the ROK-US soldiers returned to their garrisons and will continue various joint special operations training, including close quarters battle (CQB) and special strike operations.
