The court dismissed the provisional injunction to suspend the exclusive contract between the idol groups Fifty Fifty and ATTRAKT.
The Seoul Central District Court Civil Division 50 (Chief Judge Park Beom-seok) on the 28th dismissed the provisional injunction filed by the idol group Fifty Fifty against their original agency ATTRAKT (CEO Jeon Hong-jun) to suspend the exclusive contract.
Fifty Fifty filed the provisional injunction on June 19, claiming the termination of the exclusive contract with ATTRAKT, alleging that ATTRAKT failed to fulfill obligations such as providing settlement data and managing the members' physical and mental health.
On the 9th, the court attempted mediation with the attendance of group members Saena (Jung Se-hyun) and Aran (Jung Eun-ah)'s mothers, ATTRAKT executives, and representatives from both sides, but the mediation failed without reaching an agreement.
Subsequently, Barun Law Firm, representing Fifty Fifty, submitted a request to resume the hearing on the same day, expressing their desire for a formal trial, but the court did not accept it and issued a dismissal decision.
Fifty Fifty achieved notable success with "Cupid," entering the top ranks of the US Billboard and UK Official Charts, but they became the center of controversy by starting a legal dispute with their agency just seven months after their debut.
