Samsung Welstory Supports Growth of Food Service Clients with Customized Solutions

'Poke All Day' Doubles Number of Franchise Stores
Supports Online Mall Market Expansion for Lobster Buffet 'Vikings Wharf'

Samsung Welstory announced on the 28th that after introducing the customized solution program '360 Solution' for food ingredient distribution business clients, the total number of franchise stores of 40 major dining customers increased by 20%. As the number of client franchises expanded, Samsung Welstory's food ingredient supply also increased by 32%, demonstrating a co-growth effect between clients and Samsung Welstory through the 360 Solution.


Samsung Welstory Supports Growth of Food Service Clients with Customized Solutions

The 360 Solution is Samsung Welstory's customized support program that provides product development, sales cooperation, promotional marketing, IT solutions, and more necessary for the growth of clients' food and beverage (F&B) businesses. Samsung Welstory launched the 360 Solution in 2016 by integrating various customer support programs, and in December last year, established the F&B Consulting Group, a specialized organization supporting space consulting and other services, to develop and provide differentiated solutions.


A representative case of the 360 Solution is the poke salad franchise 'Poke All Day' operated by the F&B company Neo F&B. In May, Samsung Welstory proposed a new menu using lobster through the product R&D solution, and after sample testing, adjusted the recipe according to Poke All Day's menu development guidelines to launch the new menu item 'Lobster Crunch Wrap.'


Last year, Samsung Welstory also provided a sales cooperation solution that enabled Poke All Day to enter Caribbean Bay, a water park, in the form of a food truck. This not only expanded sales but also increased customer awareness by creating new touchpoints that provide brand experiences. Since the provision of the 360 Solution, the number of Poke All Day franchises has more than doubled, surpassing 100 stores, and it has grown into the largest poke salad franchise brand in Korea.


The dining company Viking Group, operator of 'Vikings Wharf,' famous for its unlimited lobster buffet, is also continuing co-growth through the 360 Solution. Samsung Welstory supplies Viking Group's lobster products to employee-only malls of group meal clients, supporting Viking Group's market expansion and sales growth. Since the sales cooperation solution began in October last year, Viking Group has recorded monthly sales of 200 million KRW, and employees of Samsung Welstory's meal clients can enjoy high-quality lobster at affordable prices.


In addition, Samsung Welstory supports the growth of clients' dining brands by providing IT solutions for franchise store operation management and commercial area analysis, as well as promotional marketing programs that effectively promote brands.


A Samsung Welstory official stated, "As the 360 Solution expands, clients see an increase in franchises, and Samsung Welstory experiences growth in food ingredient sales, resulting in visible mutual win-win outcomes. We will continue to advance the 360 Solution by quickly introducing new solutions needed by clients in line with trend changes so that clients can grow together as market-leading F&B brands."
