Lotte Homeshopping Launches Fashion Brand 'DAB Plus'... Virtual Human 'Lucy' Selected as Model

Lotte Homeshopping announced on the 24th that it will exclusively launch the designer brand 'DEBB+' featuring the virtual human Lucy as the official model on the 28th.


DEBB+ is a contemporary casual brand newly introduced by New York-born designer Yoon Won-jung, famous for Andy & Debb. With "Forever Young" as the main concept, it features romantic casual styles that transcend age. Lotte Homeshopping has selected DEBB+ as a strategic brand to secure new customers in their 20s and 30s for this fall and winter season, planning to showcase full coordination items such as knits, pants, and jackets. Additionally, they appointed the virtual human Lucy, who has 170,000 followers, as the official model. They aim to diversify customer inflow through collaborations with Lucy across various channels including social networking services (SNS), YouTube, and vertical commerce.

DEBB+ will sequentially introduce 17 new products with unique designs not previously seen on home shopping, such as hot pink as the main color, pearl accessories, and cat artwork T-shirts. From 9:45 PM on the 28th, a 140-minute special launch broadcast will feature six highly versatile autumn items including tweed jackets, denim pants, and tulle skirts. The tweed jacket uses tweed fabric made from yarns of eight different thicknesses, adding feminine charm to its classic look, while the sequin tulle skirt embraces the recently popular "balletcore" style, wearing ballet costumes as everyday wear. In addition, sets of clothing and accent items such as brooches, knit jackets, blouses, and pearl scarf rings will be offered to enable various styling options.


A Lotte Homeshopping official said, "After a year of preparation, we are launching DEBB+ as a strategic brand to secure new customers in their 20s and 30s. Together with official model Lucy, we plan to present unique fashion products based on romantic casual styles and lead trends in home shopping fashion."
