Sweetbook Launches 'AI Story Classroom' Service for Creating AI-Powered Fairy Tale Books

Sweetbook (CEO Baekyung Park) has launched ‘AI Story Classroom,’ a platform for creating storybooks for children and adolescents. This service allows users to easily complete storybooks by receiving story recommendations in their areas of interest or by automatically generating illustrations with the help of the latest artificial intelligence technology.

AI Story Classroom focuses on the experience of children completing a storybook on their own, but it does not have AI create the entire book; instead, it leaves room for creative writing. Children can experience the latest AI technology, and it holds educational value suitable for use in school settings where creative writing is taught.

Baekyung Park, CEO of Sweetbook, said, “The AI storybook creation service encourages children’s imagination and creativity, providing them with the opportunity to complete a storybook on their own and share it with friends.” He added, “We aim to enrich children’s creativity and learning experiences by utilizing AI technology.”

The AI storybook creation service internally uses the large language model AI ChatGPT and the generative illustration AI from Stable Diffusion. It offers various story illustration styles and text options, allowing users to freely design and customize their desired storybooks.

With the launch of this beta service, elementary, middle, and high school teachers are offered a free opportunity to create a trial storybook and receive a physical copy.

Sweetbook plans to continue developing the ‘AI Story Classroom’ service by reflecting ongoing technological innovations and user demands. It is expected that children will be able to unleash their imagination, create special story tales, and gain more enjoyable and meaningful learning experiences through this service.
