Dongmyung University (President Jeon Ho-hwan) Department of Occupational Therapy (Department Head Jo Mi-rim) signed a business agreement on August 19 with ABA KOREA ACADEMY (CEO Yang Moon-bong) in Iljik-dong, Gwangmyeong-si, Gyeonggi Province for mutual development and exchange cooperation.
ABA KOREA ACADEMY operates approved certification training programs for international behavior analyst certifications (QBA, QASP-S, ABAT) recognized by the QABA Board, accredited by the American National Standards Institute.
Through this agreement, the two institutions plan to promote projects including cooperation in human resource support, sharing information and providing consultation for rehabilitation and intervention services for children with disabilities, establishing a cooperative system for training professionals, and supporting clinical practice and volunteer activities.
The Department of Occupational Therapy at Dongmyung University provides students with practice-oriented innovative education based on a systematic major curriculum and various extracurricular programs, and is building excellent educational infrastructure for training prospective occupational therapists.
The Department of Occupational Therapy at Dongmyung University will recruit a total of 30 students in the 2024 admissions: 28 in the early admission and 2 in the regular admission.
