Hyundai Industrial to Supply High-Value-Added Interior Materials Worth 140 Billion KRW for Hyundai Motor's New Santa Fe

Hyundai Industry, a specialized automotive interior materials company (co-CEOs Kang Hyun-seok and Baek Sang-yeol), announced on the 21st that it has signed a high value-added interior materials supply contract worth 140 billion KRW.


Hyundai Industry signed a supply contract worth a total of 140 billion KRW over 6 years, supplying interior material items ▲armrests ▲headrests ▲legrests applied to Hyundai Motor Company's 5th generation new Santa Fe, 'The All New Santa Fe,' at an annual scale of 23.2 billion KRW, and plans to start mass production from August.


A Hyundai Industry official stated, "This interior materials supply contract for the new Santa Fe SUV model, introduced after 5 years, once again proves Hyundai Industry's outstanding capabilities and product excellence."


In addition to supplying interior materials for the new SUV, Hyundai Industry also supplies various interior parts for SUVs and electric vehicles such as the Genesis GV80 that use high value-added interior materials.


Meanwhile, the 5th generation The All New Santa Fe, unveiled by Hyundai Motor Company, is a new SUV introduced 5 years after the 4th generation launch in 2018, and is expected to receive increased pre-orders as it attracts significant consumer interest.
