Opening of Mobile Platform for Ingredient Ordering and Solution Provision
Aimed at Enhancing Operational Efficiency of Restaurant Owners in Food Service Industry
Ourhome announced on the 21st that it has launched the ingredient ordering platform ‘Bobtner’ and is accelerating its attack on the ingredient market.
Bobtner is an ingredient ordering platform for foodservice entrepreneurs and small restaurant operators, providing ingredient product recommendations, order management, and cooking solutions tailored to their needs. It was developed to help successfully operate foodservice businesses by offering ingredient products and solutions optimized for each restaurant menu. Bobtner is a compound word of ‘Bob’ and ‘Partner.’
Anyone self-employed in the foodservice industry can use Bobtner. Without a trading contract with Ourhome, users can conveniently order products through a mobile application and view everything at a glance?from ingredient recommendations to cost comparisons and menu-specific recipe guidance.
Currently, Bobtner offers over 1,000 products. It features a variety of product categories, from simplified and pre-processed ingredients that significantly improve kitchen operation efficiency to soups, stews, side dishes, and more. In addition to its own products, Bobtner also hosts products from other companies, expanding the selection of ingredients to suit the cooking conditions of food and beverage establishments and enabling comparative ordering.
Bobtner’s greatest strength is its ‘ingredient curation by menu.’ Based on Ourhome’s over 40 years of accumulated know-how in food manufacturing and foodservice business operations, it recommends simplified ingredients suitable for conditions such as season, restaurant size, and menu, while providing customized meal plans and recipes. Through this, food and beverage establishments can achieve ▲reduced cooking time and labor efficiency ▲standardized taste quality ▲food hygiene and safety management ▲reduction of food waste. In particular, it is expected to flexibly address challenges faced by solo entrepreneurs and early-stage startups, such as menu diversification, securing cooking proficiency, and rising labor costs.
A recipe magazine corner will also be separately established within Bobtner. It plans to recommend meal plans and recipes ranging from popular menus aligned with food trends to chef-recommended signature dishes. To commemorate the launch, new members will receive a coupon pack immediately upon registration, and both referrers and referees will be awarded points when a referral is registered.
Seo Young-ho, head of Ourhome’s Digital Commerce Division, said, “Based on the know-how accumulated from operating numerous types of restaurants over 40 years, we have launched a customized ingredient ordering platform for foodservice entrepreneurs. We expect Bobtner’s ingredient curation and recipe magazine to be useful solutions, especially for small-scale self-employed individuals and novice owners who have just started their businesses.”
