Samsung Electronics, Google, and Kakao Games have joined forces to enhance the satisfaction of users playing games on Galaxy smartphones.
On the 20th, Samsung Electronics announced that it collaborated with Google and Kakao Games to allow Galaxy smartphone users to enjoy Kakao Games' "Ares: Rise of Guardians" (hereafter referred to as Ares) with more optimized performance.
First, Samsung Electronics and Kakao Games applied the latest 3D graphics API "Vulkan" to Ares and carried out optimization work. This reduces chipset load and memory usage during gameplay, providing more stable frame rates compared to the existing graphics API "OpenGLES."
Google, through collaboration with Kakao Games, applied an adaptive performance solution to Ares. This improvement maintains consistently high frame rates during gameplay, enhancing performance.
Thanks to the efforts of the three companies, Galaxy phone users can now enjoy the Ares game with more optimized performance.
Meanwhile, Ares, with its unique worldview, stunning graphics, and action, achieved the number one spot in popularity and second place in sales rankings on the Google Play Store just one day after its release on the 25th of last month.
