Director of the Future of Politics Institute: "ChatGPT Information Beyond Imagination"
"Cause of Political Polarization is Parachute Personnel"
A book diagnosing the domestic political reality through a dialogue with ChatGPT has been published. Cho Seung-hyun, former Blue House administrator under the Moon Jae-in administration and director of the Future of Politics Research Institute, published a dialogue collection with ChatGPT titled 'Cho Seung-hyun Asks, ChatGPT Answers! The Future of Politics in the Republic of Korea (co-authored by Cho Seung-hyun and ChatGPT)'.
Composed of three parts, this book addresses the current status and problems of Korean politics in Part 1, solutions to these problems in Part 2, and prospects for the future of Korean politics in Part 3. The very fact of diagnosing political reality through a Q&A with ChatGPT is an intriguing aspect.
Regarding the reason why political hatred spreads, ChatGPT pointed out, "Politicians, who are professionals demanding concessions from the public, ironically show nothing but greed instead of making concessions themselves, causing the public to distrust politicians and resulting in inefficiency in national governance."
ChatGPT also expressed views on next year's general election, which is the biggest concern for politicians.
Furthermore, ChatGPT identified parachute appointments as the cause of political polarization. ChatGPT diagnosed, "By limiting the president's appointment authority and introducing a system where appointments require parliamentary approval, the harmful effects of the imperial presidential system should be corrected so that society can be unified through politics."
Regarding the political dialogue with ChatGPT, Director Cho Seung-hyun said, "The information ChatGPT holds about Korean politics was beyond imagination."
Director Cho added, "The information within the ChatGPT AI was far more extensive and profound than what I obtained from my experience as a legislative aide involved in lawmaking and policy formulation, as a Blue House administrator overseeing policy execution and national governance, and as a party official understanding the workings of the democratic system. It accurately recognized the problems of Korean politics and even proposed fairly excellent solutions."
