A Woman in Her 20s Found Dead After Drug Use at Jinju Motel, Police Investigating

A woman in her 20s was found dead after taking drugs and sleeping in a motel, prompting the police to launch an investigation.

According to the Jinju Police Station in Gyeongnam on the 16th, a 119 emergency call was received on the 14th at around 4:40 PM reporting that a woman in her 20s, identified as A, was unconscious.

Paramedics who arrived at the scene confirmed that A had already passed away and handed the case over to the police.

The police urgently arrested a woman in her 20s, B, who was staying with A, on suspicion of methamphetamine use at the scene.

It is known that B called 119 after A, who had taken methamphetamine the previous night and fallen asleep, did not wake up.

Although not present at the scene, the police confirmed that a man in his 50s, C, was also at the motel and tracked him down, arresting him near the motel around 8 PM on the same day on suspicion of drug use and other charges.

The police plan to determine A’s exact cause of death through an autopsy and will apply for arrest warrants for the two suspects once the investigation is complete.
