Advance Reservation for Chuseok Gifts from the 18th for 24 Days
Over 240 Items... 17% Increase in Items Over 100,000 Won Compared to Last Year
Shinsegae Department Store announced on the 16th that it will begin pre-order sales of 2023 Chuseok gift sets from the 18th of this month until the 10th of next month.

The pre-order items include about 240 products: 46 agricultural items such as apples, pears, apple mangoes, and Shine Muscat grapes; 32 livestock items including Korean beef; 29 seafood items such as dried yellow corvina and abalone; 55 health food products; and 17 types of wine.
The main item discounts are 5-10% for Korean beef, which is considered the most popular holiday product, up to 20% for dried yellow corvina, up to 20% for fruits, and up to 60% for wine and health foods. Among seafood items, dried yellow corvina, cutlassfish, and tilefish are carefully selected by pre-purchasing seasonal catches caught between winter and spring and passing food safety inspections.
Shinsegae Department Store has also prepared about 130 premium products priced over 100,000 KRW, which is a 17% increase compared to last Chuseok.
On SSG.com, customers can pre-order Chuseok gift sets at the Shinsegae Department Store Mall until August 27. The selection has been expanded by 15% compared to last Chuseok, offering both premium gift sets carefully selected with top-grade products and practical gift sets priced between 70,000 and 100,000 KRW to broaden customer choices. They will showcase premium fresh products delivered directly from production areas. The 'Hanwoo Beef 1++ Number 9 Special Cut Gift Set 2.4kg,' composed only of the highest-grade special cuts from female cows, is sold for 840,000 KRW, and the 'Asil Paulownia Mixed Fruit Gift Set,' containing 9 to 11 domestic and international fruits selected by a fruit sommelier and packed in a paulownia wood box, is available for around 170,000 KRW.
Practical sets that can be gifted without burden are also prepared. The 'Yukgyosi Hanwoo Meat Practical Refrigerated Set No. 3 2kg,' which includes three types of meat?bulgogi, soup cuts, and skewers?in four packs, is priced at 140,000 KRW, and the 'Buseong Agriculture King Apple and Pear Mixed Set,' composed of extra-large sizes, is offered at around 70,000 KRW.
Both the representative premium and practical sets offer up to 30% discount when purchased through pre-order, along with exclusive gift wrapping.
