Police Pursue Man Threatening Middle School Student with Weapon Near Godeok Station

Investigation Underway Including CCTV Analysis

The police are pursuing a suspect who threatened middle school students with a weapon near Godeok Station on Subway Line 5.

According to the Gangdong Police Station in Seoul on the 14th, a report was received that around 10:40 PM the previous day near Godeok Station in Gangdong-gu, a man warned students sitting on public bicycles called "Ddareungi," and when he was protested against, he took out a weapon and threatened them.

The police are tracking the man by analyzing closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage to identify him.
