Zuckerberg Proposed Fight on 26th but No Confirmation
"If Elon Doesn't Contact, Will Move to Next Step"
There is a possibility that the fight between Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, and Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, may not actually take place.
On the 13th (local time), Zuckerberg wrote on his Threads account, "I think everyone agrees that Elon is not serious and that it's time to move on to the next step."
He continued, "I proposed an actual (match) date, and Dana White said he would make it a charity fight. However, Elon did not confirm a date, said he needed surgery, and now he wants to have a practice match in my backyard."
Zuckerberg stated, "If Elon is serious about the match date and the official event, he knows how to get in touch. Otherwise, I will move on to the next step and focus on competing with people who take sports seriously."
Earlier, on the 6th, Zuckerberg proposed a fight to Musk scheduled for the 26th. However, Musk did not give a clear answer, and if he continues to remain unresponsive, it is interpreted as meaning he will give up on the fight.
Meanwhile, Zuckerberg and Musk have been exchanging heated words about a fight since June.
When Meta announced the launch of 'Threads,' also called the 'Twitter rival,' Musk posted a sarcastic comment on X (formerly Twitter) saying, "I'm scared to death." In response, a user warned, "Zuckerberg does jiu-jitsu, so be careful," to which Musk replied, "I'm ready to fight."
Afterward, Zuckerberg captured Musk's post and responded on his Instagram, "Send me your location," sparking intense speculation about their fight, with the Roman Colosseum even being mentioned as a possible venue.
