Complete Survey of 28 Baesooji Sites and 26 Pressure Stations

The Ulsan City Waterworks Headquarters has begun inspection and maintenance of water supply facilities following typhoon damage.


Two teams consisting of eight members, including electrical and mechanical specialists, have been deployed to inspect 28 reservoirs and 26 pumping stations, with plans to quickly restore damaged facilities.


Lee Young-hwan, head of the Ulsan Waterworks Headquarters, stated, “Even after the typhoon has passed, we will thoroughly inspect the water supply facilities to ensure there is no disruption in tap water supply and do our best to provide citizens with uninterrupted, high-quality tap water.”


The Ulsan Waterworks Headquarters had previously conducted preemptive safety inspections of facilities, including checking the stability of fixtures and drainage systems, to prevent damage from the approaching typhoon.
