The Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced on the 12th that over 10,000 Jamboree participants headed to the departure gates in a single day. Even after the closing ceremony and K-pop performance held the previous day, about 2,000 people moved to Incheon Airport.

The government and local governments operated special shuttle buses and provided dedicated check-in counters and rest areas to assist Jamboree participants with their departures.

Ahmed Alhendawi, Secretary-General of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, expressed gratitude, saying, "Despite severe weather conditions, I thank the Korea Scouts and government for providing many challenges and special experiences, as well as the Korean people for their sincere care and hospitality."

The Jamboree participants also expressed their thanks to the Korean government and the universities and institutions that provided accommodations. They did not forget to thank the local governments that offered various programs and transportation conveniences, as well as the volunteers and officials who provided living conveniences and guidance.

Lee Sang-min, Minister of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, stated, "The government will provide convenience to the Jamboree participants and ensure safety until the very last person departs," adding, "We hope that the Jamboree participants from around the world will carry precious memories of Korea and pursue even greater dreams in the future."

Kim Hyun-sook, Minister of Gender Equality and Family, also said, "We will do our best until the Jamboree participants safely return to their home countries," and expressed gratitude to the participants who did their best over the 12 days, encouraging them to grow splendidly as global leaders.
