The top 10 most expensive vacation destinations for travel have been revealed. They all share the common trait of having high accommodation costs.
On the 10th (local time), U.S. economic media CNBC reported, citing a survey by the U.S. travel information site FloridaPanhandle.com, listing the 10 most expensive travel destinations in the world.

FloridaPanhandle.com analyzed the average accommodation, transportation, food, and sightseeing costs of 100 famous tourist destinations worldwide. Airfare was not included in the figures.
Most are islands or ski resorts.
The most expensive place in the world for daily travel expenses per person is Gustavia, a French Caribbean port city in Saint Barth?lemy. Accommodation alone costs a whopping $1,770 (approximately 2.35 million KRW). This is an average value.
Ranking second is Gstaad in Switzerland, a representative ski resort in Europe. The average hotel rate is $1,360 (1.81 million KRW). This city also recorded the highest food prices, requiring $177 (230,000 KRW) per day.
The third place is also a ski resort. Aspen, Colorado, USA, has an average accommodation cost of $1,385 (1.84 million KRW) per person, but for a family of four, it is about $2,274 (3.03 million KRW). Taxes were not included.
FloridaPanhandle.com calculated the average sightseeing costs by visiting the three attractions with the most reviews at each tourist destination through the multinational travel information company TripAdvisor.
According to the analysis, among the ranked destinations, the highest daily sightseeing cost was recorded in Park City at $333 (440,000 KRW).
The company noted that for Saint Barth?lemy Island and the Maldives, if staying at a resort, beach usage fees are free, so sightseeing costs were set at $0.
