On the 10th, Ha posted on her Instagram, "This is so shocking. It feels like all our memories have disappeared," adding, "The JTBC show 'The Foreigner' Choo family house, which many people remember, burned down and vanished."

She continued, "A few days ago, I was reminiscing while rewatching 'The Foreigner,' and I can't believe this happened," and added, "I pray that no one was hurt."

The mansion Ha referred to is located near Austin, Texas. The house spans approximately 1,200 pyeong (about 3,966 square meters) and includes a master bedroom and bathroom, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center for Choo Shin-soo, and a private theater. It is reported that Ha personally handled the interior design.

When Choo Shin-soo was playing for the Texas Rangers in Major League Baseball in 2017, this mansion was featured on the JTBC variety show 'The Foreigner.'

Inside the mansion, photos, uniforms, and autographs documenting Choo Shin-soo's journey from the minor leagues to joining a famous Major League team were displayed, resembling a 'museum.' The Choo family lived in this mansion until 2020 before moving back to Korea.

According to NBC 5 News, a local Texas broadcaster, the fire occurred on the 8th (local time). Around 4 p.m. that day, local fire authorities responded to a fire report, but upon arrival, the house was already engulfed in flames.

The fire chief told the media, "It appears the fire started at a wall and spread to the attic." Fortunately, there were no casualties reported. The exact cause of the fire is under investigation, but it is known that construction work was underway at the house at the time.

Currently, Texas is experiencing hot and dry weather, leading to sporadic fire incidents. The local forestry department has raised the wildfire alert to level 4.

According to CNN on the 9th, a wildfire broke out in 'Cedar Park,' located 32 km north of Austin, Texas. The wildfire burned approximately 50 acres (202,342 square meters) of forest.

Except for one minor injury, there were no human casualties, but the wildfire caused significant property damage, including the complete destruction of an apartment building.

Alice Alter, a member of the Austin City Council, urged, "In this kind of weather, even a small spark can spread into a large fire," emphasizing, "It is really important to be mindful not to carelessly discard cigarette butts."
