The Keoreureu Family is inspired by the 'quokka,' native to Rottnest Island in Australia, which forms the basis of Outback's brand identity, and consists of Dad Keoreureu, Mom Keoti, and Baby Keomong.

The characters, each with their own story, include the syllable ‘Keo’ from Outback employees called Outbackers in their names, signifying that they are part of the Outback family. The quokka is famously known as the happiest animal on Earth, with a cute and lovable smiling face, and the Keoreureu Family embodies the positive and passionate worldview of Outbackers.

Dad Keoreureu is a master chef quokka who has become a max-level grillman due to his passion for the steak that symbolizes Outback. Mom Keoti represents Outback’s kind and witty service, while Baby Keomong is a playful character who loves dancing and singing, capturing the happy and cheerful atmosphere of Outback.

The Keoreureu Family digital goods are available for download on the official Outback website, and Outback is actively utilizing the Keoreureu Family in hands-on menus such as cookie and cupcake making in the ‘Outback Cooking Class,’ which debuted this month, marking the start of full-scale customer engagement using the characters.
