Sancheong Museum in Gyeongnam received the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award.
According to Sancheong Museum on the 11th, it won the grand prize (Minister's Award) in the online program "Myugung Myujin," linked to the "2023 Museum and Art Gallery Week" hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the National Museum Cultural Foundation.
Myugung Myujin is an annual participatory campaign commemorating "International Museum Day," where museums and art galleries directly reveal their infinite charm on social networking services (SNS) with themed hashtags (#).

In particular, not only the themed events such as the dance challenge and calligraphy event linked to the keyword-based program "Do You Know Without Saying?" but also posts reflecting local characteristics recorded about 30,000 views on YouTube channels and SNS, achieving significant results.
Previously, Sancheong Museum participated in this program for the first time last year and won the excellence award.
This year, it achieved a great success by winning the grand prize among 298 museums and art galleries nationwide.
Park Woo-myeong, director of Sancheong Museum, said, "We worked hard to promote various aspects including local cultural heritage, and I am glad to have achieved good results. I am grateful that many people participated in Sancheong Museum's online and offline programs. We hope for continued participation and support."
