Receive Calls with Confidence… Dongjak-gu Implements Administrative Call Caller ID Service
Improving Call Success Rates and Providing Trusted Civil Service, Implemented from August
Dongjak-gu (Mayor Park Il-ha) announced that it has been implementing the 'Administrative Call Caller ID Service' since August to facilitate smooth communication with residents and provide trusted civil services.
The 'Administrative Call Caller ID Service' displays the phone number and department information on the recipient's mobile phone screen when a call is made from the district office's administrative phone, indicating that the call is from Dongjak-gu.
Previously, only the phone number was displayed when calls were made from administrative phones, causing many residents to mistake the calls for telemarketing or voice phishing and reject them, which hindered civil administrative processing.
With the introduction of this service, it is expected to increase the call success rate with residents and enable callback calls if the call is missed, thereby helping to provide prompt and accurate civil services.
The service is available regardless of the resident's carrier or device, and no separate app installation is required. Customers using KT mobile phones (Android phones) will also see BI image content displayed.
The service is being piloted in 18 key civil service departments, including the Architecture Division and Civil Affairs Passport Division, with plans to expand to all departments next year.
Park Il-ha, Mayor of Dongjak-gu, stated, “We expect this service to enable the provision of trusted civil administrative services,” and added, “We will continue to upgrade administrative functions and systems closely related to residents to create a smarter Dongjak-gu.”
