After a two-week trial operation, the official opening will be on September 1st, and during the temporary opening period, anyone can use the library services.

According to Nam-gu on the 10th, the Hyocheon Eoullim Library, which is opening this time, is the fourth municipal library in the district and is located within the Hyocheon Cultural Complex Community Center, a facility built as a living SOC complex.

The construction of this library began in March and was completed in May of this year.

Since completion, Nam-gu has devoted great effort to creating an optimal library environment for local residents over the past three months, including interior decoration and placing various fixtures and convenience facilities throughout the library.

Hyocheon Eoullim Library is equipped with a children's materials room, a general materials room, and spaces for various programs and club activities.

Additionally, a nursing room is provided for parents visiting the library with infants, where breastfeeding and diaper changing can be done.

The Hyocheon Eoullim Library is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, and until 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. It is closed on the first and third Mondays of each month and on legal holidays.

During the temporary opening period, users will be provided with services such as material viewing, borrowing, and returning. The interlibrary loan service, which allows borrowing and returning books held by libraries within the district, will start on September 1st.

A Nam-gu official said, "Hyocheon Eoullim Library is a municipal library established to promote the reading culture of local residents, and we will provide the best cultural and educational services to the residents of the district."
