'Introducing Incheon's Charm to Jamboree Participants'... Special Tourist Courses and Experiential Programs Offered

Incheon City announced on the 10th that it is operating special tourist courses and experiential programs for 4,258 Jamboree participants staying in the region.


The city plans to offer a total of about 30 tourism and cultural experiential programs daily, allowing participants to experience various charms of Incheon during their stay.


Currently, four programs?Eco City Tour, Educational (Industrial) Travel, Songdo Night View Program, and City Tour?are being operated as special programs for scout members, accommodating 2,000 participants. Additionally, exhibition and sports experiential programs that can accommodate 5,500 participants will also be operated.


Local programs allowing participants to experience various parts of Incheon are prepared by region, including the Open Port Historical Tour, Retro Course, Wolmido and Songdo New City, Seo-gu Cheongna, Namdong-gu, and Ganghwa Transportation Tour.


Since the 8th, the city has specially organized and operated the Incheon City Tour for Jamboree participants. The city tour, which visits major tourist courses such as G Tower in Songdo, Incheon, and the World Alphabet Museum, will continue until the 12th.

The Educational (Industrial) Travel program also draws attention. Participants visit world-class pharmaceutical companies located in Incheon, such as Celltrion and Samsung Biologics, and experience diverse cultures through the world's alphabets at the National World Alphabet Museum. The Eco City Tour is scheduled to include key tourist attractions in Songdo, such as the Tri-Bowl, Urban History Museum, and Hyundai Premium Outlet, allowing participants to enjoy shopping in addition to sightseeing.


Participants can also experience the charm of Incheon at night. The Songdo Night View Program, which starts at the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority Promotion Center and includes a water taxi ride to enjoy the night views of the Tri-Bowl and Central Park, will be operated for two days on the 9th and 10th.


Furthermore, seats are prepared for Jamboree participants at international competitions held in Incheon. Free admission is available for the eSports Challenge Amateur Tournament (12th), World Robot Olympiad Korea Competition (12th), and World Cube Association World Championship (13th). The city also plans to invite them to the United Incheon regular league match held on the 13th.
