On the 9th, about 360 children from regional children's centers located in Yesan-gun attended the Yesan-gun Regional Children's Center Federation One Heart Sports Competition held at the Yesan-gun Sports Center in Chungnam. As this sports event was held for the first time in three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many children enjoyed spending time together after a long time.

Yesan-gun is an area where Boryeong (formerly Boryeong Pharmaceutical) has its pharmaceutical factory, and the Boryeong Jungbo Foundation has been supporting children's healthy leisure activities during summer vacation and promoting coexistence with the local community since 2019.

Additionally, in Jongno-gu, Seoul, where the foundation's headquarters are located, Boryeong Jungbo Foundation actively supports children's leisure activities by sponsoring a summer vacation 'water play program' for all local children's centers, as well as small concerts and instrument lessons by the 'Children's Orchestra,' fulfilling its role as a member of the local community.

Nam Heung-soo, Secretary General of Boryeong Jungbo Foundation, said, "We hope this will provide joyful memories for children and help ease the burden on households that need daily care, such as single-parent and multicultural families." He added, "We will continue to actively support children and youth so that they can grow up experiencing various educational and cultural opportunities."

Boryeong Jungbo Foundation is a public foundation established in 2007 when Boryeong celebrated its 50th anniversary, with Chairman Kim Seung-ho of Boryeong donating his private funds to carry out continuous social contribution activities. The foundation continues various social contribution activities targeting children and youth, including cultural and artistic experience activities, learning support, and medical expense assistance.
