Dispatched Police Accused of 'Molester' Behavior
Guardian at Police Station Shouts Back Loudly
Middle school girls intoxicated with alcohol caused a disturbance by entering a dryer in an unmanned laundromat and damaging the machine. They verbally abused the store owner who tried to stop their behavior and aggressively protested by accusing the responding police officers of being 'sexual offenders.'
According to JTBC Incident Manager on the 10th, the incident occurred around 4:17 a.m. on the 3rd at a 24-hour unmanned laundromat located in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul.
Among the two intoxicated middle school girls who entered the unmanned laundromat, Ms. A, wearing purple clothes, suddenly got inside the dryer and started using her mobile phone. Ms. A closed the dryer door after entering and then forcibly opened it by kicking the door shortly afterward.

The store owner, who was monitoring the situation in real time, went to the store and told the students, "It is dangerous to get inside the dryer like that." The students then began to verbally abuse the owner, emitting the smell of alcohol. When the owner asked, "Did you come here after drinking?" the students replied, "We drank a little with the kids over there," continuing their verbal abuse.
In this absurd situation, the store owner obtained the students' parents' contact information and called them. Meanwhile, one student ran away. Eventually, only Ms. A, who had been inside the dryer, was caught and handed over to the police.
Ms. A also verbally abused the police officers who arrived at the scene. After being apprehended by the police, Ms. A made a phone call somewhere and said things like, "I am being abused by the police right now," "Anyway, it's a protective disposition, so just do as you please," and "If I just cry a little in front of the judge, it will be over. You know that too."

When the police physically blocked Ms. A from escaping, she accused them by saying, "You are sexually harassing me right now," trying to frame the police as sexual offenders.
Afterward, the police took Ms. A to the police station, and her guardian appeared. However, the guardian was also intoxicated and loudly confronted the store owner, saying, "Aren't you trying to blame us for the machines that originally had many problems and were often broken?"
Meanwhile, the store owner stated that they plan to file a criminal complaint against Ms. A for property damage and proceed with a civil lawsuit as well.
