Riverside DJing Party (12th) · Midnight Dinner Cruise (12th)
Byeolbada Busan Night Music Camp Picnic · Night Food Terrace (26th~27th)
Busan City, together with the Korea Tourism Organization and Busan Tourism Organization (President Kim Jang-sil), will continue to offer various nighttime tourism programs that will light up the starry sea nights of Busan in August.
First, on the 12th, at APEC Naru Park, as part of the nighttime tourism specialized city development project, a ‘Riverside DJing Party’ will be held, and a ‘Midnight Dinner Cruise’ will be operated on a trial basis.
In July, the ‘Yongdusan Night Popup’ and ‘Baby Shark Night Playground’ were successfully operated.
The ‘Riverside DJing Party’ is an event on the 12th starting at 8 PM, where the area around Haeundae River Cruise within the park will be transformed into an outdoor club featuring famous domestic DJs.
It will be operated with a main stage and a sub stage.
On the main stage, club DJs Seorin, DJ DIA, and DJ LUCY will perform hip-hop/EDM genre shows in a standing format, while on the sub stage, DJ ROBE, DJ TEC9, and DJ kimpro will perform mainly pop, punk, and R&B genres.
Pre-registration is required, and participants will be provided with non-alcoholic beverages and light snacks on the day. Participation is free, and registration can be done via the QR code on the poster.
The ‘Midnight Dinner Cruise’ will operate three times on the 12th at 7 PM, 9 PM, and 10 PM on the Haeundae River Cruise.
Riders can enjoy the night view of the Suyeong River along with a premium lunchbox and non-alcoholic drinks aboard an urban-type cruise ship that offers views of both the river and the sea.
The cruise route starts from APEC Naru Park, passing through the Busan Cinema Center, Gajeong Bridge, Millak Bridge, Marine City, Gwangandaegyo Bridge, and returns to the Suyeong River.
Next, the ‘Night Music Campnic’ will be held at Dadaepo Beach Park to color the ‘Night of Western Busan.’
This event is a nighttime emotional campnic concert held four times until October (August 12, August 19, September 9, October 8).
‘Campnic’ is a portmanteau of camping and picnic, referring to light camping enjoyed near the city like a picnic.
Due to heavy rain in July, one performance was postponed, so in August, two performances will be held on the 12th and 19th at Dadaepo Beach Park. On the day of the performances, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, artists such as Soon Soon-hee, Burning Soda, Noblesse (classical), and JT Family’s Lee Jin-su and Kim Chang-ah will perform.
The participation fee is 10,000 KRW, and pre-registrants will receive beer, snacks, and a foldable mat on the day.
Following July, the ‘Night Food Terrace,’ featuring movies, talks, food from films, and yacht rides, will be held on August 26 and 27 at the rooftop of Haeundae River Cruise.
The program is co-planned and operated with the Busan Food Film Festa (Chairman Hwang Gyo-ik).
On August 26, after watching the movie ‘Decision to Leave,’ participants will have a discussion titled ‘Stories of Alcohol That Passed Them By’ with travel writer Noh Joong-hoon and bartender Park Sung-hwa. At this event, attendees can taste Kavalan from Taiwan, which won first place at the World Whiskies Awards.
On August 27, after watching the movie ‘Green Book,’ participants will enjoy various alcoholic beverages and discuss jazz stories from the film with reporter Ryu Hee-sung and film critic Park Ji-hyun.
Both days’ programs will conclude with a yacht night view tour on the Haeundae River Cruise.
A city official stated, “The nights of ‘Starry Sea Busan’ in August will be even more hip and full of joy,” adding, “Through the nighttime tourism specialized city project and the international tourism city project, we hope that not only citizens but all visitors to Busan will cherish the happy nights in Busan with the cool midnight breeze in their hearts.”
