Goseong-gun Activates Disaster Safety Countermeasures Headquarters Ahead of Approaching Typhoon Goseong-gun has entered an emergency response system to prepare for the typhoon.

The emergency duty system will be maintained until the warning is lifted. Before the typhoon occurs (▲frequent monitoring of weather conditions such as typhoon path information ▲pre-inspection of houses, vehicles, fields, and vinyl greenhouses ▲preparation of emergency supplies) and when entering the typhoon's impact zone (▲refrain from going out △avoid contact with electrical facilities ▲preemptive gas shutoff ▲immediate evacuation from low-lying or flood-prone areas ▲avoid approaching streams, rivers, coastal areas, and underpasses), the county is promoting these precautions to residents and conducting urgent inspections of disaster-vulnerable areas to prevent casualties.

County Governor Sang-geun Lee visited eight sites at risk of human damage, including development sites and apartment construction sites, urging, "In dangerous situations, proactive responses such as preemptive control and resident evacuation must be carried out promptly on-site."

He added, "We ask all residents to pay close attention to disaster alerts and, once entering the typhoon's impact zone, to refrain from going out and evacuate quickly according to administrative guidance if necessary."

Meanwhile, major tourist attractions in Goseong-gun, such as the Dinosaur Museum and Danghangpo Tourist Site, will be temporarily closed to prevent safety accidents due to the northward approach of Typhoon "Khanun."
