Britain has decided to sanction 25 entities, including an Iranian drone manufacturer that supplied weapons to the Russian military.
On the 8th (local time), the UK government announced new sanctions against individuals and businesses from Iran, T?rkiye, Belarus, Slovakia, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Russia.
James Cleverly, UK Foreign Secretary, stated, "With today's landmark sanctions, Russia's arsenal will be reduced, and the supply chains supporting Putin's defense industry will be shut down."
The Iranian drone manufacturer Paravar Pars and seven of its executives were already sanctioned by the US in February.
The UK government has imposed sanctions on more than 1,600 individuals and entities since the Ukraine war began.
