Namhae-gun, 'Great Support to Fishermen and Merchants through Seafood Market Visits'

Namhae-gun, Gyeongnam, conducted a 'Seafood Market Shopping Campaign' at Namhae Traditional Market on the morning of the 7th.

The campaign was attended by about 50 people, including County Governor Jang Chung-nam, heads of Namhae-gun institutions and organizations, the Namhae-eup Autonomous Disaster Prevention Group, and the Market Merchants Association.

Participants toured Namhae Traditional Market, encouraging market merchants and fishermen while purchasing various seafood products.

In particular, this event was carried out alongside price inspections and street vendor guidance and inspections to create a clean and trustworthy traditional market environment.

Governor Jang said, “Namhae-gun will actively prepare measures to promote seafood consumption,” and added, “We ask for the interest and participation of all residents so that we can be a great support to fishermen and merchants who are struggling due to the decline in seafood consumption.”
