Barrel has recently focused on strengthening product competitiveness, improving systems, reorganizing the organization, and enhancing management efficiency targeting the summer peak season following the transition to an endemic (periodic outbreak of infectious diseases). Earlier in the first quarter, it also achieved sales growth and a turnaround to operating profit.

As a result of concentrating on stable sales recovery through a product lineup centered on key items and aggressive supply volume, sales of water sports apparel and equipment approximately doubled compared to the same period last year. The swim line products, which have been strategically focused on expanding market share recently, recorded even higher sales performance, showing a remarkable growth trend.

A Barrel representative stated, "Amid the rapid increase in domestic leisure and water sports demand after the endemic, we have concentrated on strengthening product competitiveness and reorganizing distribution channels to solidify our foundation." He added, "With a favorable market atmosphere due to the increase in domestic and international travelers and the continuation of the main sales season in the third quarter, we expect sales momentum to continue."
