What caught people's attention in the video was her skeletal, emaciated body.
Active as a beauty and fashion YouTuber since 2013, Eugenia Cooney has suffered from anorexia for a long time and has publicly fought against her eating disorder. She is known to be over 170 cm tall but weighs only 39 kg.
Viewers who watched the video expressed concern in the comments and urged her to seek treatment. They responded with comments such as "It's amazing you're still alive," "It's chilling," "Hard to watch," and "I pray someone who loves you helps you get treatment."
Eugenia Cooney's videos have been controversial for a long time. The public has criticized her, saying that teenage girls might starve themselves or engage in extreme dieting to develop eating disorders because they want to look like her.
Previously, in 2016, more than 18,000 people signed a 'Change.org' petition to temporarily suspend Eugenia Cooney from YouTube for promoting anorexia and to request medical support.
At that time, Eugenia said, "Some people say I have a bad influence on girls, but I never intend to negatively influence anyone through YouTube," and "I have never told anyone to change their appearance or lose weight like me."

Meanwhile, anorexia is a representative eating disorder characterized by refusal to eat despite normal or increased appetite, driven by an endless desire to be thin or an extreme fear of gaining weight.
Its main features include persistent behaviors to lose weight, weight loss, inappropriate obsession with food and weight, and intense fear of gaining weight.
Anorexia is very dangerous because it does not stop at maintaining a slim figure but involves refusing to maintain at least a normal weight and continuously losing weight. Hypothermia, low blood pressure, amenorrhea, and dehydration are very common accompanying symptoms.
The World Health Organization (WHO) also regards anorexia as a top priority disease to be treated in adolescents.
Eating disorders cause muscle loss, heart problems, kidney problems, constipation, bloating, nausea, bone loss, and anemia. In particular, anorexia is known to have a high risk of death if severe.
In fact, in 2006, Uruguayan fashion model Luisel Ramos died of a heart attack caused by anorexia, and six months later, her sister Iliana Ramos also died from malnutrition due to anorexia. In the same year, young Brazilian model Carolina Heston also died after her weight dropped to 38 kg.
Anorexia commonly appears in fashion models and celebrities who emphasize a slim appearance, but recently it has also frequently appeared in teenagers and people in their twenties, requiring special attention.
