Shilla Duty Free announced on the 2nd that it will showcase a unique collaboration targeting the MZ generation in partnership with the global hotel search platform HotelsCombined.
To commemorate the opening of its Incheon Airport branch, Shilla Duty Free is conducting a collaboration promotion featuring limited edition goods using Shilla Duty Free’s representative character ‘Shilla Friends’ and HotelsCombined’s character ‘Max’.
Recently, content themed around Shilla Duty Free’s Shilla Friends character ‘Pui’ and HotelsCombined’s ‘Max’, who have become perfect travel mates, was introduced on Instagram. The content is richly composed, from the story of the two characters’ first meeting at Shilla Duty Free Incheon Airport to an introduction of travel preferences reflecting real travel mate types such as speedster, shopping addict, and gourmet.
To celebrate the promotion, a limited edition ‘PuiXMax Transparent Beach Bag’ was also produced. Customers who participate in the word-of-mouth event through the Shilla Friends Instagram channel by the 13th of this month can receive the beach bag through a lottery limited to 100 people. Additionally, starting from the 16th of this month, the first 300 customers who purchase over $100 at Shilla Duty Free Seoul branch will receive the beach bag. This event runs until the 31st and is limited to weekdays.
The event is also held on the HotelsCombined website and mobile promotion page. By participating in a vote to choose their preferred travel mate between ‘Max’ and ‘Pui’, participants have a chance to win prizes through a lottery, including ▲MaxX Pui Transparent Beach Bag (500 people) ▲HotelsCombined ‘Max’ Doll (100 people) ▲Shilla Duty Free S Rewards 10,000 points (1000 people).
A Shilla Duty Free representative said, “Following the previous collaboration with Shin Ramyun, we are now conducting a unique collaboration with HotelsCombined,” adding, “We will continue to provide various pleasures to MZ generation customers through collaborations that cross industries.”
