The course introduced this time is Course 1 of the Baekje Revival Army Trail on the Naepo Cultural Forest Trail. The distance is 16.5 km. This course is mostly mountainous, so caution is needed for safety. The downhill paths can be slippery when it rains. It is recommended to prepare hiking sticks and hiking boots.

Ososan Sangdam Village is the starting point of the Ososan mountain hike, the highest peak on the west coast, and also the starting point of the Baekje Revival Army Trail, where Baekje refugees fiercely fought for three years after the fall of Baekje. The cherry blossom path that stretches long in Sangdam Village during spring is beautiful. In autumn, the silver grass fields at the summit of Ososan are famous, attracting many visitors. You can also enjoy delicious village food at the Eoksapul Restaurant run by the Sangdam Village Women's Association.

At the end of the uphill road along the forest road from Sangdam Village, there is Swinjil Rock and Boksin Cave, where the legend of General Boksin is passed down. Swinjil Rock is located at the 80% elevation of Ososan and is named after the Chungcheong dialect word "shiheunggil." Below Swinjil Rock is a large stone cave called Boksin Cave. Boksin Cave is known as the place where General Boksin was killed by the Wind King due to internal conflict among leaders during the 'Baekje Revival Movement,' which failed to realize the dream of Baekje's revival.

The forest road of Ososan continues, and at the point of Gireogijae, the trail enters a quiet forest path. Afterward, the Ososan section ends at Daehyeon 1-gu Village Hall, the gateway to Janggok Mountain Fortress (Juryuseong).
