Metuzen announced on the 31st that its subsidiary, Bluepick, a content production company specializing in web novels and webtoons, will begin serializing the fantasy genre webtoon 'Academy Genius Swordsman' as a Sunday Webtoon on Naver Webtoon.
The webtoon 'Academy Genius Swordsman' is a fantasy webtoon where swords, magic, and various races coexist, depicting the adventure of the protagonist 'Ronan' who strives to prevent the world's destruction. The story unfolds through intricate foreshadowing and settings that detail the protagonist's growth throughout the journey. Centered around popular keywords such as regression, academy, training, and revenge, it offers a solid development and high immersion while unraveling an extensive story.
This work is by writer Seogwan-do, who previously serialized it as a web novel on Munpia, accumulating approximately 3.8 million views. It is meaningful that it has been adapted into a webtoon through collaboration with Bluepick. Writer Sichi, who has serialized works such as Kakao Page's 'The Constellation Returned from Hell' and Japan's Square Enix 'Front Mission Dog Life and Dog Style,' along with members of Bluepick Studio, were involved in the production.
