ESG and Future Growth Activity Achievements
Presented in 21 Issues
S-Oil announced on the 31st that it has published its 2022 ESG Report, which contains the performance of creating both financial and non-financial value.
S-Oil has been issuing sustainability reports annually since 2008. This year marks the 16th report, which improved the overall structure in line with the company's strengthened ESG management policy and revisions to international reporting standards, and changed the report's title to "ESG Report."
Last year, 21 issues were selected focusing on ESG management activities and other topics of high interest to stakeholders, among activities and achievements contributing to the national economy and society.
It also includes detailed information about the Shahin Project, which is underway for the company’s sustainable growth.
The main ESG activities were written intuitively to enhance focus and readability by utilizing various infographics, color blocks, and photos.
The report was prepared in compliance with the GRI (Global Reporting Standards) 2021 guidelines and its objectivity was recognized through verification by a third-party external organization.
S-Oil stated, "As issues such as climate change have recently emerged, ESG is being highlighted as an important management factor across all areas of society," and added, "We adopted ESG classification to ensure that all ESG-related elements of the company are fully communicated to stakeholders, and also changed the report’s title."
