Chairman Kim Jae-sik stated, "It is welcome that the government is implementing various policies for youth preparing for independence, but there are still many around who are seeking a helping hand."

He added, "The state cannot do everything, and even basic local governments, which are small community units, must play a role in supporting youth preparing for independence."

He continued, "By establishing a One-Stop Independence Preparation Youth Support Center (tentative name) for integrated support, our Dong-gu should take a leading role in supporting youth preparing for independence," emphasizing, "Once the center is established, comprehensive support for youth preparing for independence can be expected, including housing, finance, employment and entrepreneurship, and psychological counseling."
