BTS member Suga, known as a true Galaxy 'superfan,' became the first recipient of the Galaxy Z Fold5. On the 28th, Samsung Electronics shared this news on Twitter along with a commemorative photo of Suga and Samsung Electronics MX Division Head No Tae-moon holding the Fold5 together.

Suga attended Samsung Electronics' new product launch event, 'Galaxy Unpacked,' held on the 26th at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It appears he received the product on that day. Around 1,000 'ARMY' fans came to the venue to see Suga. During the Unpacked event, when asked, "What do you think about the Z Fold?" Suga gave a thumbs-up.

Suga is known in the entertainment industry as a famous Galaxy user. At a world tour concert held in New Jersey, USA, last April, he told fans, "If you give me something, please only give me Galaxy. No iPhone (Only Galaxy, no iPhone)." Showing his affection for Galaxy openly, Suga also received an honorary employee ID from Samsung Electronics' 'Galaxy Marketing Team' on the 25th, the day before the Unpacked event. At that time, Samsung Electronics sent a letter and bouquet that read, "Yoongi-nim (Suga's real name), welcome to Galaxy Unpacked 2023. It is truly a precious moment for us, and we are honored and grateful to have you, Yoongi-nim, with us at this special Unpacked event."

Meanwhile, the Z Fold5 and Flip5 will be released domestically on the 11th of next month. The pre-sale period is from the 1st to the 7th of next month. The Fold5 is priced at ▲2,097,700 KRW (256GB) ▲2,218,700 KRW (512GB) ▲2,460,700 KRW (1TB, exclusive to Samsung.com and Samsung Gangnam). The Flip5 is priced at 1,399,200 KRW (256GB) and 1,520,200 KRW (512GB).
