Hampyeong-gun is recruiting additional applicants for the Jeonnam Youth Culture Welfare Card, which can be used for cultural and leisure activities such as performances, exhibitions, books, music, and tourism within Jeonnam Province.
On the 28th, Hampyeong-gun, Jeonnam Province announced that it will conduct additional recruitment throughout August for local youth who were unable to apply for the card in the first half of the year, aiming to allow more young people to enjoy the benefits of the 'Jeonnam Youth Culture Welfare Card.'
Eligible applicants are youth aged 19 to 28 (born between 1995 and 2004) who have had a residence in Jeollanam-do for more than two years since August 1, 2021, and up to 200,000 KRW per person will be supported.
Also, youth who applied in the first half of the year but were excluded due to not meeting the residence criteria can apply if they now meet the residency requirements.
However, public institution employees receiving welfare points (cards), recipients of the ‘Out-of-School Youth Education Allowance,’ and ‘Jeonnam Women Farmers and Fishermen Voucher’ support are excluded, and recipients of the ‘Munhwa Nuri Card’ will only receive the difference of 90,000 KRW excluding the Munhwa Nuri benefit.
Applications can be submitted from August 1 to 31 via the NongHyup Card website or by visiting the local town or township office of the applicant’s residence.
After verifying eligibility in September, the card will be issued and the cultural welfare funds will be provided, with the usage period lasting until the end of this year.
Meanwhile, the ‘Jeonnam Youth Culture Welfare Card’ project is being promoted as part of efforts to help young people settle in the region by providing opportunities for cultural enjoyment and self-development.
