Especially this year, the festival has expanded more than last year and welcomes visitors with more diverse facilities and differentiated programs.
The Aqua Festival features a variety of facilities including a giant pool, large and medium-sized slides, a pool for toddlers, banana boats, circular boats, and mini duck boats.
Additionally, to ensure visitor convenience, ample Mongolian shelters and parasol shelters have been secured, and various facilities such as showers, changing rooms, snack bars, and food trucks are installed and operated.
The county is making various efforts, including continuous facility maintenance and water quality management, to ensure visitors do not experience any inconvenience while using the event site.
Along with fully equipped facilities, abundant cultural performances are also presented for children and family visitors.
On the performance stage within the event site, weekend children’s DJ pool parties dominate the atmosphere, and various cultural performances such as Aqua Nanta are held.
In particular, to prevent visitor safety accidents, a total of 36 staff members are deployed, including 24 water safety personnel, 3 parking and traffic guides, and 9 on-site operation staff, striving to operate the water play facilities safely.
A visitor to the Aqua Festival said, “I was really glad there is a clean and safe water play area nearby in Imsil,” adding, “My children really liked it, so we plan to come often during the event period.”
County Governor Shim Min said, “Although the longest monsoon season on record has continued, with the end of the monsoon and the onset of intense heat and heatwaves, many people are expected to visit the festival site,” and added, “We will do our best to provide upgraded facilities, abundant performances, and thorough safety management compared to last year to bring joy to many visitors.”
